Started toying with the idea of making an air cleaner assembly. The issue with the original un-silenced 340 air cleaner is I out flowed it’s capability. I had to skeletonized a base to get enough air flow. The original housing only had about 1/2” gap at the bottom. My plan is to make one out of carbon fiber that will double the air gap. Should allow me to go with a solid base and eliminate a bunch of turbulence. Started playing with Onshape, a free CAD software program. The idea is to make a 3d printed mold out of PETG. Only took about a day to get pretty comfortable with it.
