San Diego Sports Arena. All the lights were out except the little ones along the aisle ways. Alto Reed started playing an extended intro to Turn the Page in the dark. Finally a spot light came on as the rest of the band began, Alto was standing atop one of the speaker towers, 30' above the stage. :eek: :thumbsup: :D
Gave ya goosebumps didn’t it? It was that good. Instantly I was a teen, parked, listening to my cassette tape Night Moves or Live Bullet in the dark doing …..Well whatever a teen may do!
I think music is amazing that way, so powerful it can literally transport you to a different time and place. Perhaps why I listen to music all the time yet today? Just a great concert.
