THIS IS A PARTS CARB.
This is for one Carter AFB 3853-S, application is a 1965 273 V8 Commando engine with a manual transmission. This carburetor was torn down by the previous owner and is how I came to own it. Some components appear to be missing, the choke blade is corrodes and the shaft screws are broken off in the shaft. I’ll include a carb kit to go with it.
I know nothing about this carb, so I recommend cleaning all the components and testing the floats before rebuilding. I’ve partially reassembled it to protect the delicate rods during shipping.
