Thanks for the great stories! If you worked at Hamtramck much......who was 'Rock" that signed the drivers side inner wheel wells in E bodies? I suspect he may have been an interior installer, because the cars were already painted, and the signature was on the inner wheel well, drivers side, right behind the back seat. People have gone to great lengths to reproduce his signature.

You mentioned stuff left in cars....my 71 Challenger convertible was built at Hamtramck. When I was restoring it, I was digging crud out from between the trunk drop offs and the inside of the quarter panel. On both sides, I dug out a conv only brace that goes between the trunk hinge support and the underside edge of the trunk lip. Both had been dropped in either on purpose or by mistake....or somebody was clumsy, lol.
