once you get past the ribbin', razzin' and breaking of stones you'll find a few of the old heads around these parts actually know a thing or two.

I got yer old heads hangin and swangin. ......although they swang a lil lower than they used to.

I have this Carter BBS from a 63 Valiant.
Might've been taken off a '63 Valiant, but that's a '61 or '62 carb. I can't quite read the carb number off the tag, held on by one of the front bowl screws; if I had that I could ID the carb's original application. This carb has no provision for PCV, but that could be added without terribly much trouble. Other than that, it would work on OP's car.
 
I posted a for sale. A 1964 BBS 3678 Carter carb. Check there, and I'll leave this posting clear of the debate on what is best or needed.
