It does have a little smell of gasoline but I can't be sure. It has literally been YEARS since i changed the oil.

I’d run half a bottle of engine flush and drain the oil through a screen, followed by cutting the oil filter open and see how much debris there is. Refill with some of this and see what kind of pressure you get.
