Don't see too many CBX's on the road any more. Nice! I sold my '80 CB750 Supersport to buy a CBX when I was in college in '84, but then I had to sell it soon after. Miss that bike.
Had a friend with a CBX. It was fast, but not a great corner carver.
He was trying to keep up with a better rider on a 750, on Glendora mountain road. He laid it down, and went over the side with it.
He caught a plant, about 15 feet down, the bike went down another couple hundred feet.
Since it was insured, the ins Co wanted to see it, they had to have a semi wrecker with a long enough cable come get it, and some poor guy had to go down to hook it on.
What came up could fit in a couple of shoe boxes.
