It is most likely a relay for something like the seatbelt warning or a delay relay for the interior lights.

Go to mymopar.com and download your cars FSM and a schismatic.

Look for a 3 prong plug with the wire colors that were on the plug you disconnected it from. Then trace back to see what it does
