Hood scoop to big?

I got this huge hemi scoop. How do I determine hole size. Just cut it huge or close to the edge of cleaner? More forward or to rear?

put a longer breather hold down stud in the carb. , paint the end of it and close your hood lightly , it will mark the hood where you need to cut a hole , the rest is up to you ...
