Is 1/2" leaf spring relocation worth the trouble?

Well it is finally done. Although it was a lot of work, after testing it out today I'm going to say it's worth it. I'd like to get the car a little lower for appearance sake, but it handles so much better than it did. Going from 17" 245 tires front and back on an A body 8.25 to 255 and 275/18 on the offset 8.75, I can't say it's 100% better but, it's close. Maybe the whole setup going from 8.55 gears to 3.23 Suregrip that I rebuilt, which is so quite. Combined with the transmission rebuilt with shift kit and better than stock, though I'm not sure which stall converter, it's significantly mechanically improved, with nice smooth shifting as before it just seemed sluggish. Also even with the stock manual box and 255 tires, the steering even at low speeds is like night and day, so much so that I am going to stick with it for now and see how it goes. I'm pretty happy right now. Thanks for your input guys
