I restored this car for my daughter about 4 years ago, and it has been her daily driver since then. She is going off to school soon, so it is time to let it go.

This car gets lots of thumbs ups, looks and compliments everywhere it goes, and has been pretty reliable. I really think it needs to go to someone who has indoor garage space as it has been parked in the elements since being restored.

As part of the restoration, the body was repaired and painted with as little filler as possible. Sandpebble beige is the original exterior color and the original interior was brown/gold. New upholstery and headliner were installed to match the original as closely as possible, but some liberties were taken with the seats given that the original material is not available anywhere. Amazingly, the original rubber floor mat was still in good shape and remains in the car. I do have pictures of the car before, during and after the resto. The engine was gone through and runs well although it has developed an oil leak from the oil pan gasket.

This Valiant was a low-option economy car with a slant 6 and 904 combination, manual steering and manual drum brakes from the factory. It was restored back to original with the following updates:

-Electronic ignition
-Electronic voltage regulator
-Electronic choke
-Classic Air air conditioning setup
-Aluminum radiator (required for the A/C)

This car is not perfect. Having been outside for 4 years, it has some small dings and scratches, and has developed small rust bubbles under the corners of the back window, but still presents very nicely. I spent a lot of time and money on this car, so I feel that at this price, someone will be getting a great deal.

$14,500

I will try to keep my inbox clear, but may not be able to respond immediately.

Price drop to $13,750. This car will be in the car corral at the Capitol City Mopars show (Mopars at the Park) in Rancho Cordova, CA on October 5th

Is this a rust spot too?

I would like to see underside if at all possible. Also, I see what looks like overspray in the fender wells. Maybe it’s just the light but can you confirm?

That is actually excess glue from the headliner/windlace which I didn't catch until it had dried already. Here are a couple closeups. I don't have any good pictures of the underside, so I will try to put it up on ramps and take some more tomorrow (just got back from an out of town trip this evening). I did find some other pictures of the work on the car, so i will post those in the meantime.
