Rallye Dash Screws

Completely thru the hole? They should "grab" the inner hole. The outer hole I believe is just to access it and allow the screw to be sunken. Here's a fillibuster from our 67 cuda on bottom row.
Correct, and that inner hole is in the gauge cluster which is screwed to the bezel
Thanks for the input but it seems that the instrument cluster has to be attached to the bezel. The screws then go through everything to attach to the dash frame. They don't actually capture the plastic bezel but do capture the instrument panel which is attached to the bezel.
Also correct
I'm pretty sure they grab the plastic bezel as well. But if u can put the screw thru 100% thru plastic bezel somethings messed up.
So I just went and checked my 70 bezel. It seems everyone is correct, the holes on the bezel(except for the far right hole) do NOT capture the screw head, it contacts the instrument cluster below it which is screwed to the bezel, then into the clip in the dash frame. So yes, the screw will fall right through the bezel hole, thats normal, but if it falls through even with the cluster attached, then the holes in the cluster below it have been enlarged for some reason, and then I would do what @WymanV recommended, filling the holes completely, then drilling them out just enough for the screw body to pass through it.
