Cold Case
I put Cold Case to the test over the last two summers:
Three years ago I bought a Cold Case radiator for my 1970 Dart GT through Ken. The last two summers, I put it to the test - a 2 part 13,500 mile roadtrip. I live in Western Washington State and starting in June of 2023 we hopped on the Pacific Coast Highway to Santa Monica, took all of Route 66 to Chicago, then the Lincoln Highway to southern Pennsylvania. I added another 2700 miles going to Chryslers at Carlisle, Mopar Nats in Columbus, and MoparFest in Ontario, Canada in the summer of 2023. We stored the car for the winter, then did Carlisle 2024, MoparFest 2024, headed across Michigan to Chicago for an east to west Rt 66 run and then again up the Coast on the PCH to home.
The engine is a built 318 with an A500 torqueflite 4 speed Overdrive trans. That car never went over 195 degrees the entire trip. That included rolling into Needles CA at 113 degrees and the long Rt 66 slog through the 18 side by side urban cities that lead up to and away from LA on a 95 degree day.
I just wanted to thank Cold Case for your excellent product. Driving a 54 year old car that far and often far from anywhere, there was plenty to worry about, but I never had to worry about my cooling system!
