Steering column drop

1974- 1976 is slightly different.
First disconnect the battery.
Much easier if you remove steering wheel.
Remove speedometer cable.
Later models only have two studs and nuts holding column to dash.
Then remove 3 bolts at floor pan.
Let column rest on seat.
Remove phillip screws holding cluster to dash.
Tilt the top of cluster away from dash.
Be careful taking the nuts loose from the ammeter studs.
Slowly remove the round wire connector from cluster.
Unplug headlight switch and wiper switch.
It's not that difficult just take your time.
