Be very careful who you trust to rebuild your original carb..

lots of times they will media blast and tumble all the parts which removes the original coating.. so the newly rebuilt carb has become as corrosion prone as the one that is now installed.

If you are determined to have someone else do it, make sure they don't ruin it with their intent to get it all shiny and "NEW" looking, as it wont last unless they re-plate it!

Often old carbs can be carefully disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled and they are good to go...
