Not yet it’s been a slog as I had to stop and get my braking system working and had to remove my axle to get a bent backing plate replaced. All in 115°F heat.
Then I was going to get Halifaxhops (Ray) to build me a VA distributor but after thinking hard about it … it was going to need to change when I swap cams and other nods. So that dizzy would end up being a frequent flyer or I would become proficient at making curves with springs NOT.
So I decided to get a Progression Distributor and have installed it and it’s working good. But now I am working on getting the base idle on the carb set correctly. This is becoming a rabbit hole. I haven’t seen Alice yet but there is another thread I started regarding Holley carb tuning that’s active right now. It’s still stupid hot here in AZ and I can only take these temps for short duration. Fall is coming in about 3 weeks which will greatly speed up my efforts.
