A833 shifter needed for A body
So far, pictures from before Hurricane Helene.
Mounting plate takes a 7/32 hex key, for three flat head socket screws torqued to 30 ft lb with blue Loctite.
Shifter bolts on with a 7/16 (5/8 socket) pivot bolt torque to 55 ft lb and a 3/8 (9/16 socket) attaching bolt to 30 ft lb
Attach all shift levers with the holes up and description (DIR, LOW, REV or D,L,R) facing out so you can read them. I use 5/16-24 grade 8 nuts and flat washers with blue Loctite. Torque to 210 in lb.
