Stop in for a cup of coffee

Right after I got out of AIT, I worked at the local chain home improvement store. Guy comes in with a ford ranger. Ordered 68 bags of Quickcrete. You know, 80 pounds per bag. That’s two pallets… he proceeded to insist that we load it into his ranger. But he wanted the bags left on the pallet, which barely will clear. So he goes somewhere, comes back with a lawn mower single axle trailer, tell him again, too heavy. He cusses and screams, my department manager tried to explain it to him, finally store manager just goes, hey sign this waiver for us to load your trailer and we’ll do it.

Store manager then has me set the first pallet full of quickcrete onto his trailer… pop goes the leaf springs and the axle bends like a twig… guy says load the second. So I did.. pop goes the welds on the tongue of the trailer. Store manager says, there it’s load, now leave…. Ranger couldn’t even budge it. Not sure whatever happened as I clocked out and left that **** show
I have seen it all...I am only about a ton over weight according to door sticker
