Tf727 rebuild

Well, need alittle more advice on my tf 727 rebuild!

Barracuda basic low power 318 weekend street driving here. Gone through with all new stuff but the copper bushings!

Listening to two different old timers, and a well known YouTube Mopar guy (Uncle something) they are saying on the copper bushing sleeves quote “ if they don’t have scratches don’t mess with replacing them! You’ll screw up more than a bushing” Some say have a transmission shop push them in and out. But my wonder is if these trans being so old will they have proper tools to truly push them in proper depth and evenness. Or forget trans shops go to machine shop.

They have zero scratches and are smooth as they can be. And probably OEM.

The other question is the governor assymbly. My video I’m going by says treat it like the valves in the valve body, that it should slide easily. Well I cleaned it and they definitely do move easily. But is this movement ok? Obviously once assembled it can’t fall out but right now they movin! No bearing play just side to side movement. Thanks
