Nmca and Nmra are finished.

I was hugely disappointed when the NMCA West went away. And that was before AAA Fontana closed.
I still don't know WHY Fontana closed, the dragstrip or the roundy course.
West coast racing is NOTHING, compared to midwest/east coast.
Local track gets maybe 50 cars for a bracket race, and currently about half the turnout for tnt that used to show up, despite weather inproving/cooling.
I went to the local eighth for the first time in a couple months (I had been out-of-state) and it happened to be the first Thursday night that the NFL played.
There was ONE CAR that arrived on a trailer. I waited outside the gates for an hour, hoping something would show up to make my $20 spectator admission worthwhile. Nothing did. I went home.

Nothing worthwhile to YOU. (I admit I’d feel the same a little)

But how many cars showed up to run? How many spectators?

Those Thursday night run what you brung’s are cash cows for that track.

Tracks/Venues need to think out of box and diversify on making money on younger $$$
