Launching from the clutch pedal stop is critical to getting consistent results from the 'tamer!
I would embrace that dead hook, also get aggressive with launch rpm.

Assuming a 1.40 60' target and your gearing with 32" tires? If the clutch slips about .80sec during launch, that would draw the engine down to about 4600rpm @ lock-up. I would want to launch a couple thousand rpm higher than that if possible.

Tires are 29.5, 93 inch diameter.
Yes I understand the stop is critical.
Just have to get a good design and fabricate one.
