Most people aren't racing, they just want their car sound like a muscle car, be able to squeal out from a light and put you back in the seat with little full throttle blips, with the last one some are fine with 250 hp to put you back into the seat and others need multiples of that power
Agree. And that’s kinda my point. I would argue that most (70% maybe) people have no idea what 500hp feels like or what it takes to make 500 real hp on a dyno. But they don’t care as long as it sounds good at the drive in.
