If you are using a factory console automatic shift the torque rod that goes through the floor is located in a way that interferes with the A500 trans case. If you look at post #50, second photo, you will see the elegant, engineered solution the MoparMatt2000 developed to fix it. I used this solution and after over 13,000 miles I can attest to how slick and smooth the solution works. If you ask really nicely, and he still has the jig he made to modify that rod, you might be able to pay Matt to re-engineer your rod... maybe
