They're not something I would do, but they are something I've seen in the past on different Chargers. They have a nice period look. Give 'em some time; they might grow on you.
Myself and one friend passed on a car about 20 years back that had pretty wild 1970s street-freak type stripes on it. Neither of us cared for 'em and removing them would've meant a complete respray on what was already an expensive car. A different friend bought the car. Friend #1 and see it pretty regularly now, and we love the stripes. They're very "correct" for how things were in the early '70s and distinguish the car from anything else. I'm still kind of glad I passed, but my buddy is constantly saying, "I should've bought this car. Man, I was stupid."
