Need help. New mopar student.

I’ve run that setup port-missmatch-be-damned and had zero problems.

The factory ran that mismatch on the 318 four barrel cars.

No need to do anything but bolt it on and have fun. The improvement over a 2bbl intake is major.
The '78-up 318 4bbl didn't have a port mismatch with their castings. The early 318 heads with a 340 intake did. Most didn't have a problem with that setup, but, I've seen a couple that did. Both had a major bog on acceleration. I don't know which cam, compression ratio, or rear end gear ratio they both had, but, just an intake manifold change to matched ports cured both. I doubt you will run across a problem though as I've seen hundreds of others done with no issue.
