Cecil County 10-19-24
I last went 9-13-24. Here's the thread- Cecil County 9-13-24 A bunch of stuff on there. I'm trying to simplify now, lol.
This time I got 4 runs. The D.A. is written on the slips. I made all runs the same except for this: I had my pin-on glass hood "floating" at the back.. I.E. longer hood pins allowing air to escape. After the 2nd run, I pinned it down tight to see if there was a difference. I don't see any. I thought maybe the mph would decrease when pinned down. Doesn't matter, it was just an experiment.
Water Temp is on the slips. I use 160*, because that's the 'stat that's in it. Maybe I need and electric water pump and fan.
Anyway, I'm looking for consistency. What should I work on? These runs are about the 15th through 18th on the car. I know I need more runs and maybe better record keeping. The D.A.'s on these runs was taken from Cecil County Dragway - Rising Sun, Maryland - Engine Tuning Weather. When I last raced, 30 years ago, we paid attention to conditions and other racers e.t.'s and dialed by feel and experience. I'll log more runs using this website to see if there's any correlation.
