Edelbrock performer intake manifold for a 318

You'll probably have more into them than what they are worth.
we all do. that's just the cost of business.

pro tip: if you're worried about that, then you better go collect stamps or start a knitting circle. this hobby is expensive and it's not getting any cheaper. and if you're incapable of doing any of your own work, then good FN luck on ever getting, upgrading and keeping car on the road at a reasonable price.

that being said, every car i've bought in the last six months i could flip tomorrow and make money. not get rich money, but i'm not underwater on any of them. i don't say this to toot my own horn, but more as a clarification that the deals are out there-- you just have to go find them.

but this is all jibber jabber. you're making lists of parts for cars you don't even own in the event of one day you're gonna. which ain't gonna happen because tracking down a car and getting a good deal is hard work, and you don't wanna put in that time and effort; instead having a whinge about getting scooped on some deal that you probably would've found some lame excuse not to buy anyway.
