RIP Fernando Valenzuela

The first player I took note of after the 1970's Cincinnati Reds.
Rest in Peace Fernando genuflectII.jpg He was the hottest thing in baseball for most of his rookie year. We went to a Plodres game in San Diego when Fernando was scheduled to pitch that year. Most stadiums, Fernando pitches, full house! San Diego that night, like 8K spectators, and it was BEER NIGHT :wtf:  . We bought cheap seats, after looking at the attendance we relocated to about 10 rows behind the Dogger dugout
