Stop in for a drink.

Doing a little tasting for the group. I'll copy and paste the tasting notes.
WT 70
Nose: light vanilla and almond. After setting, I pick up an astringent note.
Palate: Vanilla, oak, a hint of almond. Light to medium creamy mouth feel.
Finish: Medium long finish with Vanilla and light almond.
101
Nose: Light apple and light oak
Palate: Light apple, baking spices (clove and cinnamon)
Finish: Medium long finish with powered sugar sweetness and light oak.
Overall: The 70 is a little creamier and mild. More refined. The 101 is a little coarse with sharp edges.
Both are tasty and actually quite different. It is a toss up if the 70 is worth the extra coin. TW101 is nice for the price! Just sayin'

Thanks Mike. I'd written off Wild Turkey years ago as a lower shelf whiskey. Appreciate the write up. I might try a bottle now.
