buyer/seller integrity question
We have members on this forum from all over the country and globe, for that matter. If I was interested in a car or parts listed here, it wouldn’t be too hard to put out a request to have someone take a look at it for you, even if you had to pay them gas money. I helped a guy in California a few years back buy a really sweet 70 Duster drag car that was for sale 30 miles from me and I live in Michigan. He just wanted eyes on it and I was more than happy to help him out. I offered to look at a 68-9 Barracuda for a guy on here too that was about 60 miles from me and would have but he ended up buying a different car. The point I’m trying to make is if you’re not willing to look at something in person or ask for someone closer to do it “just in case”, don’t complain after you buy something sight unseen. I agree you owe him nothing. The burden lies on his lack of willingness to check it out better.
