World Series

I've lived in SoCal all my life and been a Dodgers fan since they moved here from Brooklyn in 1958. Listening to Vin Scully on my transistor radio when I was supposed to be asleep taught me about baseball.
I've been privileged to be able to attend two World Series games. The first in 1959 against the Chicago White Sox where my mom and I sat under the thermometer in the peristyle end of the LA Coliseum...we were so far from home plate you needed binoculars to see the right field fence! The second World Series game was 1978 Game 2 against the Yankees where Bob Welch struck out Reggie Jackson to end the game.
Both games so far in 2024 have been exceptional!
Go Dodgers!
