SSBC Returned Items (No Refund and Now Being Ghosted)

UPDATE:
28 October 2024 my Credit Card was FINALLY credited with the due refund after returning the brake system to SSBC back on 06 August 2024.
Since posting this thread I’ve called my Banking Institution twice, called SSBC an additional five times or so, and I also filed a report to the Federal Trade Commission. My bank finally replied with a letter stating they couldn’t reverse the charges because they didn’t receive “proof” that the merchant agreed to initiate a refund. So I screenshot the discussion email chain between myself and SSBC reps and forwarded to them as additional documentation.

After several phone calls with SSBC (without going into too much drawn out detail)…they sent an email last Thursday (24 October 2024) with a screen shot of their logging system that said “Refund Pending” (although I’d asked them NUMEROUS times before could they provide ANY proof that they had indeed initiated the refund, to which they stated that they couldn’t). Did I believe it was legit?…..NO I didn’t. On last Friday (25 October 2024) I received another email from SSBC titled “Refund Notification”. Did I believe them….NO I didn’t.

Why did it take practically 3 MONTHS for them to perform this action? I’m not sure, but I’m CERTAIN that if I didn’t proceed with persistence I would NOT have received any refund.
