Project Cheap & Nasty Updated With Back Story

The beginning of project Cheap & Nasty.

I need to update this with some back story. @Stephen Hotz was nice enough to bring this to me when he came by the other day to visit and pick up the 400, while on his way to see many folks, including @Dartfreak75 Kevin to pick up his 73 Barracuda. I didn't get any rockers or a rocker shaft. What was left of them was rusted up little pieces in the lifter valleys, so we didn't hold out a lot of hope the rest would be any good. The short block wouldn't turn, but to my amazement, the reason wasn't rusted up cylinders. Upon closer examination, it did turn about 1/4" either way. I noticed when it did, It jacked the camshaft forward and then backwards. The oil pump was SLAM locked up. I had to break off the gear housing and knock it out into the crankcase to get it out. Once I did that, the short block turned freely. It had two cylinders, #1 and #6 that had some heavy surface rust in the bottom, but they cleaned up good with no pitting. Imagine that.
