Quick update: I just back from the Apple store, and I'm back in business. No, they couldn't locate my old phone (the battery had died), and since I didn't upload my photos to the Cloud, they're gone.

At the risk of coming-off as overly sentimental, that hurts a LOT, as I had about a years worth of valuable photos and memories on there, and I told my wife last night I feel like one of our dogs has died.

I guess I'll throw this out there, I don't suppose it could've slipped between the bumper & bed/tailgate, landing in the framing or brackets....most likely if You backed out & stopped it went the other way, but working on cars for a living for decades, I've seen sh*t end up places You wouldn't believe...lol!
As far as backup, no cloud for Me, it could be on a server in Indonesia. I just dump 'em into the PC via Bluetooth, or a laptop/tablet I'm not using for anything else, then You can put them on thumbdrives or burn 'em to a disc.
