Damn! Damn! Damn!

So We can take work everywhere with Us? So it can fall in the mortar box? So it can land in a pan full of antifreeze? So it can bounce off of a roof drip-edge & hit half of the scaffold tubing on the way down? So it can pop out while You're pushing a box out of the way for Your buddy on the skidloader w/his OSHA earplugs in who can't hear You yelling stop as He backs over it? Asking for a friend......

Sounds almost like you are speaking from experience.

I dropped a brand new, only had it a few days, high $ flip phone into a bucket of antifreeze once, long ago. That was a quick end to that one. I also dropped my first new 'smartphone on the concrete floor of my garage within the first month of owning it, fortunately for me the repair was half covered by the warranty.

Best phone I've ever had was a military spec Motorola flip phone. It survived everything I did to it, including dropping it off my motorcycle at about 30 mph, barely a scratch.
