Back up again. 71 383 Demon project
Well, the time has come to where I really did make a final decision to off everything I have mopar related. I'm just done.
*71 Demon roller - nice straight 95% rust free body. Has minor rust in trunk. Originally Lemon Twist yellow, black top. Now in black primer. Sub frame connectors installed. Both rear 1/4s replaced.
A ton of parts go with it.
New: OER 71 grille, headlight bezels, turn signal lenses.
Replacement rear bumper in primer ( was going to paint it body color). 2 standard dashes. 2 hoods, one with 72 style scoop, new chrome sport mirrors.
72 style E body seats in nice condition. ( has e body tracks) have drivers side a body tracks.
Extra 75 style drivers bucket seat.
60 over 69 383 block fully machined. Crank is bolted in. 10/10 on crank. Rods are resized with DC bolts. KB hyperutectic pistons pressed on rods. New rings, bearings, didn't have a cam picked out but have 3 purple shafts ( used) .455, .484, unknown3 bolt solid lifter cam but is purple shaft. one set of new hydralic lifters ( johnsons) ,
Pushrods and older crane ductile iron adjustable rockers with shafts and hold downs.
Deep sump oil pan with new milodon pickup. New melling hv oil pump. New single bolt double roller timing chain and gear set.
New gasket set includes extra steel shim head gaskets and felpro head gaskets .
Edelbrock Dp4b intake, Holley 750 dp carb, Holley blue pump with regulator.
727 rebuilt with shift kit. Zero miles.
8 3/4 a body rear, 489 391 sure grip with 4.5 BP axles. New super stock leaf springs ( not installed).
Front suspension changed to 4.5 BP disc's. No sway bar . Has v8 k member with nice torque strap.
Aluminum radiator.
B body headers
Factory console and shifter and a old Hurst shifter that I recently bought off of here.
Have another standard shift steering column ( power steering) have adapter (mancini) with manual box installed. Have 2 steering wheels. A nice ( but incorrect) Tuff wheel and a decent Rim blow wheel with correct adapter.
Comes with 15 x 3.5 and 15 x8 centerline wheels. Needs back tires. Fronts are decent. Also for extra money ( new in box) 15x3.5 and 15x8.5 Torque thrust wheels with caps and new lugnuts ($500 if bought with car) $625 separately.
Cool red/white/blue Dixco tach.
I know there's more that I'm leaving out, but that's the overall of it.
