Headers vs 340 manifolds

340s are rated 324 nhra stock
You know better then using 275 thats a bs rating even dantheman knows that.
BS rating? Yep! 275HP @ 5500 was it?
What about higher numbers at higher rpm’s?
Change the distributor? Coil? Wires? Change the timing around? Cam timing straight up or moved around?

Come on now. We know we can shoot holes through this garbage like shooting 273 & DtM in a 55 gallon drum tied together tight.

A 20-25 hp having from headers alone is a fair statement. More is possible.
The dyno pull is right in front of you its 17 hp on a stock motor
35 40 on a built motor 70 on a stroker its all been tested

Magazine test? LMAO! Those numbers will differ from dyno to dyno. State to state. Day to day. Sea level to mile high.
Been there done that with flow benches, friends with there engines have dyno’d them at 3 different shops on my old stomping grounds with wild variations in power and weird looking graphs.

This isn’t going to be a dick swinging contest on ridiculous old information on old dyno’s from decades ago and even more so considering the better equipment available today.

I've never put headers on a vehicle and not felt or notice the difference.
