1971 Dodge Dart Swinger -Fresh Build- 340-727-8 3/4
Offering My Recently Built 71 Dodge Dart. This Car is as Nice a Dart as you will find anywhere. You cannot Build this car for anywhere near the Price I am asking. This Dart won 'Best of Show" at its first show put on by A Mopar club, (that I am not affiliated with, in a town a couple over from mine)... North Carolina Car, Very Solid, Stripped to Bare Metal, Windows removed, Very Minor Pinholes Cut out and repaired with Metal patches, Passenger Floor board had pinholes, so We welded in a entire front passenger side front AMD Pan. All Floors and Trunk are Solid !! The entire car was Epoxy Primed , Then Prepped, Guide coated several times, and then shot with a gloss Black Final Guide coat to make sure she was Laser straight !! Painted with PPG Solvent Based Deltron Factory Color Medium Green Metallic and Top Shelf Clear !! Cut and Buffed to a Mirror finish. Hood is Correct Semi Flat Black, and a Bumble Bee stripe on the tail.
The car was Reassembled with All New Everything !! New Brightwork list includes: Bumpers, Grill, All Emblems, 340 Scoops, Mirrors, Door Handles, & Polished Trim Rings.
New interior including AOC Carpet, Sound/heat Barrier, Swinger floormats,Headliner, Package Tray, Dash Pad, Legendary Interiors Seat Covers, Legendary interiors Door Panels, Tuff Style Wood Steering Wheel, Rebuilt Steering Column, Rebuilt Instrument Cluster, repainted Metal Dash, New Woodgrain Dash inserts,New Glove Box, New Headlight switch, New Radio speaker, New Heat ducts and Hoses,so on & So on.
The Car was originally a 318 V8 car, but now has an H-Code 1971 Date coded 340,with J Heads, and a 727 Transmission, and an 8 3/4 rearend. Motor is freshly built with a Mild comp Cam, New 750 Dual Line Holley, Edelbrock Performer RPM High Rise intake, Hedman Headers, Dual exhaust with Flowmasters, Mopar electronic Ignition, Powermaster Alternator,Champion Aluminum Radiator, 323 Gears, with a Stall torque converter. Has a full set of Gauges to Monitor engine. Ammeter Dash Gauge bypassed for Safety. New Gas sending Unit, and New Gas Gauge. Instrument Cluster Professionally Rebuilt. New Safety Neutral switch, and Harness. The Door Buzzers, Light warning Buzzers, interior lights etc. all work.
Trunk has New Mat, restored Jack, and a Spare Tire. New Cooper Cobra 60 series tires, on Rally wheels.
We have owned this car for about 10 years, Mostly cruising, then Fixing all the little details. The Car is not raced, or abused. ( I dont spin the tires or over rev the engine etc etc ). It was Built to be The car I always wanted.... I always loved a 340 Dart !!!
This Car will stand out anywhere you go and get Tons of compliments !!!
I have worked out all the little details after a build. Getting everything Working as it should, and The car needs nothing except to be driven !! It cruises down the road at 65 MPH with 60 lbs of Oil pressure, running 160 degrees on a 85 degree day.
