Stop in for a cup of coffee

I would be able to get one fairly easy. We are allowed to send a pic of all 4 sides of the car, and whatever bill of sale paperwork we have. Then they will let you know their suspected value. Go to your insurance company and get a bond that is 1.5x that value. Send it in. The bond stays on it for 5 years, if no other claims to ownership, then they issue a clear title. I have done this 3 times now. I worked with the DMV at the capital for 6-9 months to get that written. Not sure how the out of state works.
In michigan the process isn't too bad.. EXCEPT if the last owner has died.... they can force you to get a letter from the dead guys estate... When i got my '62 it came with the original '62 title.. and i learned that and panicked bad.. then i actually found the guy alive and called him and talked for a bit.. told me about the car and how he parked it in 1978 and just never got around to working on it. What was funny was the secretary of state not knowing how to deal with such a old title :)

I also have the original hand written receipt from the hardware store/dodge dealership... it is just a normal old one like you had bought some washers...
