Turn signal problems on 75 duster

I tore the dash apart and found a flasher in the dash that I wasn't aware of. I replaced it with a new flasher and the turn signals are working properly now. But the hazards only work if you have the turn signal on as well. I also found a flasher 552 in this plug (photo below), it states in the book that it is a plug for the map light switch. But I can't find what it plugs into? Or does it plug into something else?

You can look that up on the diagram. CI-23 stands for the "Connector, Instrument panel" (or Interior) no. 23 and is identified on the diagram.

If you look at the index before the diagrams start, you'll see, EG in the alphabetical list that "map light switch" is at location 27E. Go down the pages until you see 27 listed at the top of the page, then down that page to "E" on the left. There it is, the map light switch, called out as CI-23, and further identified by the brown and yellow wiring.
