I believe they're the same casting from what I can tell, the 270 use the same rockers as the 240s.
I have never seen one in person to know if it has a stand off to raise the runner but I don't believe they do.
I have already done a gasket match blend on the ports to the Hughes gasket which did open the port a bit already. I know I wrote the original size down but I don't know where that note is.
The Hughes gasket has a cut out for max wedge so I will just port to that size.
Its not a true max wedge port though.
I have some really old nose mw gaskets that gobble up that 270 port window lol.
