no I bought the engine fully assembled from a classic car storage place . the roof had leaked in the building after a hurricane and they had the hood off so they took out the motor and left it in the building. it was a la 360 030 over with an air gap a 7qt moroso pan rollers worked heads an a electric water pump ect. ect. so the owner of the storage had a dakota that needed a 5.2 mag and I had one so we just traded he did not know why the motor was removed I took it apart and 2 cyl had water in them and I could tell it wasn't from the motorI just used some of the parts on my magnum and was going to use that pump cause I could tell the motor hadn't been run more than a few hours but just like everyone quoted in this thread I went to dissassemble it and seen the distortion on the mounting surface.
