Cold Case Radiator what fan and shroud are you using ?
mine is a V8 shroud. after popping all the rivet holes in it...instead of filling them in....I just added a couple of aluminum strips at the top and bottom to cover it all up and stiffen the shroud. The shroud was also bowing in the middle as it was a tight fit in the channels vs mounting it on top of the channels. it now just slides down in the channel and is held in with plastic bumper rivets. the aluminum strip on top and bottom holds it straight. I still am slowly heating up when sitting still....not nearly as bad as before though. could be worked out in the tune on my EFI controlling timing at this point. driving the car around its fine. Also could just direct mount the fan instead of using a clutch. but for now....its good enough. also....yes that's Herculiner with clear polyurethane on top. engine bay paint was a disaster and outside was decent enough. budget was out...so that's what happened and honestly...it looks really good if you ask me.
