WHAT GOES HERE?

Hi Folks

Just wondering what this hole in the firewall just above and to the left of the parking cable is for? I've seen firewalls with this hole, and I've seen them where there was a dimple at this location.

Edit: And no, the inner fenders are not black :lol:
