For decades, Icelanders have been competing in formula off -road; a series of races where the competitors on V-8 4x4´s tackle very steep hills as well as drive floating on water. Points are awarded for driving within the prescribed tracks (usually about 6 tracks pr. race) as well as how far you get on each track, Sometimes a time bonus is offered too.
