Kind of funny broomstick story. On the older C-130 external tanks when they put them back together the front fuel indication wiring used to get pinched all the time. I used to take a broom stick and whack them to see if the capacitance changed. Worked every time. First time I did it in Cali the Mil police saw me do it. Took like ten good hits to see if it was pinched. The next thing I know I am on the ground in cuffs they thought I was destroying the aircraft! Pretty funny now that is not in ant book at all.
