Shift handle will be fine, that's the non-console 71 B body shifter. It doesn't hit anything. The handle is a smidge high if you're running factory bucket seats, but it's in a better spot than any of the stock pistol grip alternatives. This is a picture of the same handle in my Duster when I had an 833 in it, it's almost certainly in 1st gear here so it's all the way forward.
