I’ve mixed the hardner from tractor supply with oil based and automotive enamels with success. Dry time is less than half and hardness has gone up quite a bit.

I painted my railings with Rustoleum and didn't want to wait 2 days so that was the 1st time I did the hardener trick. Then my blue cabinets to red next.
