Unfortunately, I'm in L.A. and Chula Vista is a 2 1/2 hour drive each way. Might be worth the drive, as you mentioned he is a Mopar S/B specialist. Their website is very impressive. How are they cost wise? I will call them in the morning.
Seems like most machine shops I have called don't recall a 273 until you mention the 318 engine.
Not going to use the Transmission as it's going in a 65 Valiant.
