Measuring for a radiator

I bought a 22", 4-row, brass radiator from US Radiator for my '68 Barracuda that originally had a Slant 6 from the factory. The bottom outlet is on the passenger side and the top inlet is on the driver's side.

It fit, and cooled well with 382 RWHP Magnum with a flashed factory OBDII JTEK EFI, A/C and the factory serpentine belt. They offer custom shrouds and electric fans that can fit, but be sure to measure your Thermal Fan's depth etc. I used 5 blade Durango fan with the shortest thermal clutch available, and it was about 1/2" from the fins. There is an 11 blade Durango fan, but it sounded like an airplane prop.

I also had to make an offset custom shroud because the lower radiator hose and the transmission cooler lines were very close to the end of the blades, plus the top of the fan blades were nearly as high as the radiator top(shy about 3/4").

Twin 12 inch fans allow for the water pump snout to clear. Picture is pre-shroud.
